Fixing Monitor Alignment

When docking your laptop to a new docking station with multiple monitors connected, often they are misaligned (mouse cursor/windows do not move from left to right across monitors). To remedy this, please follow the below steps.
Right-click on your desktop, then click Display settings

Click on the Identify button in the Display properties window. A number will display on each of your monitors. Make note of the numbers displayed on your monitors, from left to right.

Under the rearrange displays section, drag and drop each display to rearrange them according to their physical layout from left to right

Click the Apply button. Your monitors should now be aligned properly.
When rearranging monitors, make sure that all monitors align at the top perfectly. Otherwise, you'll have problems moving the mouse cursor between monitors from the corners.
