How to Send Encrypted E-mails and Report Spam

The Outlook Barracuda plug-in will enable you to send encrypted e-mails and report spam/harmful e-mails:

Sending Encrypted E-mails:

1. Open the Outlook message you want to encrypt.

2. In the subject line, include [Encrypt] before the subject. Be sure to include the brackets. For example:

3. Finish your e-mail, including any attachments you want to include, then send it out. The recipients will be directed to a link and must enter a one-time password code sent to their e-mail address to access any attached documents in your encrypted e-mail.

Reporting spam or harmful e-mails:

1. Open Outlook. Click the “Home” tab at the top (if not already selected), then click the Message Actions button on the right.

2. Barracuda Essentials window will appear on the right. Click Continue

3. Open the message you have determined to be spam

4. Click the Report & Provide Feedback button. The message will be automatically moved to your Deleted Items and sent to Barracuda for review.
