How to Access NewPoint Resources on your Mobile Device
E-mail/Contacts/Calendar
You can view all your NewPoint Outlook e-mail, contacts and calendar items using the Outlook mobile app:
Apple (iOS):
- Open the App Store
- Search for Outlook, then find Microsoft Outlook in the list - tap Get

- Enter Apple ID password to download the app, if prompted
- Open the Microsoft Outlook App
- Enter your NewPoint e-mail address (firstname.lastname@newpoint.com), then tap Add Account
- Enter your NewPoint password (same password you use to log-in to your PC), then tap Sign In
- Approve the MFA sign-in notification on your cell phone when received. If you don’t see it, open your Authenticator app, then try signing in again in Outlook
- Tap OK in the window below

7. Open Outlook again, then tap OK in the window below

8. If prompted, create the PIN to use for securing access to the Outlook app.
9. Tap Turn On to allow mail/calendar notifications, then tap Allow
10. You can now use the Outlook app to check your NewPoint e-mail, contacts and calendar items.
Android:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Type Outlook in the Search. Install, then Open the Microsoft Outlook app.

4. Enter your NewPoint e-mail address, then hit Continue. Enter your password when prompted, then tap Sign in
5. Approve the Authenticator app notification you receive on your phone (if prompted)
6. If prompted to add another account, tap Skip
7. You will be prompted to install the Intune Company Portal app. Tap GO TO STORE if you do not already have this app installed.
8. Tap INSTALL to install the Company Portal app, then open it.
9. In the window Your organization protects data in this app, tap OK.
10. If prompted, type a PIN that you will use to secure access to the Outlook app.
11. You can now use the Outlook app to check your NewPoint e-mail, contacts and calendar items.
IT Service Desk Portal
You can open and view existing tickets and check on approvals in our service desk site using the FreshService app:
- Download, then install the FreshService app via the Apple App Store or Android Google Play store. Enter Apple ID or Google ID password, if prompted. Open the app.
- For the Helpdesk URL, enter: newpoint.freshservice.com then tap Next
- Tap Sign in with SSO
- You’ll be taken to a Microsoft sign in Window. Enter your NewPoint e-mail address, then tap Next
- Enter your account password, then tap Sign in
- Approve the Authenticator request. You should receive a pop-up on your phone. If you do not, approve from the Authenticator app.
- Tap Yes to stay signed in
- Tap Allow if you would like the app to send you notifications about ticket updates
- Use the blue + button in the bottom-right to open tickets
Office365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
The process for setting up each of these apps is very similar:
- Download, then open the app from the Apple App Store, or Android Google Play store.
- Follow the wizard when opening the app. Enter your NewPoint account e-mail and password if prompted, then approve any prompts received in the Authenticator app on your phone.
