How to Reset Your Account Password
Your NewPoint account password must be reset every 90 days. I.T. will send you reminder emails from IT-Communications@newpoint.com 13 days before it expires and every day thereafter. You will also receive a notification after logging in to your computer:

Please ensure you update your password before it expires to avoid account interruption.
NewPoint password minimum requirements:
- 8 characters long
- 1 upper-case letter
- 1 lower-case letter
- 1 number
Please follow the instructions below to reset your password:
If you are in a NewPoint office (Plano, Chevy Chase, New York, etc.):
1. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your keyboard.
2. Click "Change a password."
3. Enter your old password, then new password twice, then hit Enter.
If you are working from home or connected to a public network:
1. Connect to the NewPoint VPN
2. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your keyboard.
3. Click "Change a password."
4. Enter your old password, then new password twice, then hit Enter.
5. Disconnect, then reconnect to VPN. If prompted, enter your updated password.
6. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE on your keyboard again, then click "Lock." Log back in to your account with your updated password.
